In years past we have always gone to Mascoutah park with Aimee, Kevin and the boys. The past two years we have gone to Mascoutah to another friends house and Aimee and Kevin have gone to Millstadt with Kevin's family. This year we went to Millstadt with Aimee and family. With it being Seth's birthday too, that afternoon, Mom and I took the kids to the mall and went shopping. We needed our American pride outfits!!! Seth got a new hat, shirt and shoes. Grace and i got our nails done and she got a new visor!! We met Aimee and the family at about 630pm and we set up our food. We lit some sparklers for the kids and then took some pics of them hanging from the rings. Nikki and her family showed up next and we went to the park for a little while. When we got there we came across the most amazing bench in the park. We, of course, took more pictures. I think the kids were really tired of the camera by the time the night was over. LOL Emma got to the picnic and Grace was super excited to have someone there her age. We set off some more fireworks and sparklers and then watched the fireworks show. It was a GREAT time!!!! We are truly going to miss this small hometown stuff that we do here with friends and family here!! But, I will be scoping out what Florida has to offer before visitors arrive!!!!
