Spring Training!!! Go CARDS!!

So, Thursday during Spring Break we went to a Cardinals/Marlins spring training game. We went to the St. Patrick's Day game and Uncle Mike went with us. We had an extra ticket so we asked if Nick wanted to go with us also, but he started a new 2nd job on Monday and couldn't get any time off from either jobs. BUT, since he wasn't happy with his 2nd job, he quit and met us at the ballfield. It was great seeing family and spending time with them before Richie deploys in April. Our seats were 2 rows up from the Marlins' dugout!!! We had a BLAST!!! We were all decked out in our green cardinals stuff...

Jake Westbrook was the opening pitcher and Gerald Laird was the starting catcher (we got his autograph)!!

And we all know who #5 is!! Albert Pujols

After the game we drove to Palm Beach, FL and checked out The Breakers Resort (which is where Nick works). This place was CRAZY!! (BTW: rooms here book at about $900 per night) Of course we had to take a few pictures. I felt totally underdressed...LOL

For the car enthusiatists this a Bugatti...worth $2.3 million dollars, made of carbon fiber and goes about 250mph. 0-60 in about 1.3 seconds. GOOD LORD!!!

The courtyard in the place was ridiculously gorgeous.

After our long day out we came home and ate dinner with the family. Aunt Bug and Uncle Mike were gracious enough to open their home to us for the week, and we really appreciate it.
