Last week Thursday was Grace's official first day of Parents As Teachers (school as she likes to call it). Since I was laid up in bed with a pinched nerve headache, Richie took her to school. I was able to take her to playgroup today and take some pictures. There were quite a few new kids and parents at school today and of course there were returning "students" that we hadn't seen all summer. My how time flies when you are young and growing up.
Grace is concentrating on attaching jewels to her star (with glue!!!)
W.A. is practicing his penmanship. His mom says he has been walking around the house lately with a baggy of crayons and a notebook to color in.
Here is E.C. and Dad counting the money.
This is a great program if your school district offers it. I highly recommend it. If you don't know if your school offers it just call the district office, they will be able to help you. We go on lots of field trips and have playgroups twice a week. The kids have a blast and the parents can socialize too with other parents and exchange notes on books, good sales, potty training, etc. Our first field trip is on the 24th to the apple orchard, so check back for some more fun with PAT.
