FINALLY!!!

So, Seth started playing T-ball in mid May. However, they have not played a game yet because of rain. Finally tonight he played his first game against a neighboring town. He was so excited he could hardly wait to get home from VBS to get dressed. The team started out doing some practice throws before the game.

Here is Seth at his first "at bat". He was tagged out, but was not discouraged. He said to me, "I'll get it next time." What at good sport!!

Seth at his second "at bat". He looks like a real pro, taking his practice swings.

He was tagged out again, but shrugged his shoulders with a smile and walked back to the dugout.

It is now his turn to play pitcher. Do you think he watches baseball on tv or go to a few games? Here he is brushing away the dirt on the plate with his foot.

While he was playing pitcher, he made an excellent play and grounded a ball and threw it to first base. Not sure if the runner was out or not, but he didn't care. He was just excited that he got to throw the ball (and of course in the right direction!!LOL) Thumbs UP!!

Here is his third and final "at bat". He made to first base, then to second, then to third. We all know what happens when you make to home plate, right? You get to slide!!

This is the end of the first game. We have another game next Tuesday at home. Hope you all enjoyed the play by play.
